What is a good add-to-cart rate, and how do you improve it?
A good add-to-cart rate sits around 8–12% for general e-commerce, though category and traffic source move the band. Below 5% is weak, above 15% elite. The lever is the product page answering the buyer's risk questions — return cost, delivery, fit, what-if — not more traffic. Same metric as product-page-to-cart.
What is a good conversion rate for an e-commerce site?
A good conversion rate for a webshop is generally 2–3% overall, but close to meaningless without a category and traffic source attached. Paid social, search and email convert at materially different rates, and category variation is wider than the gap between a strong and weak shop. Compare like with like.
What are you stuck on?
This is where I write about the whole picture: earning traffic that's actually worth having, then making sure it survives to the bottom line. Unit economics, margin protection, Benelux logistics and compliance, and the creative that brings people in.
